Advertising photographer in Athens

A campaign image needs to carry the idea and leave room for the design around it. I photograph product, food and beverage subjects for advertising, working from the intended placements and the agreed visual direction. Brands, advertising agencies and creative production teams can commission a defined set of stills, from a central hero image to supporting compositions.

Selected work

A visual direction you can assess.

The portfolio shows how composition and light can give a product a distinct visual presence. The Minoa images use coloured planes to separate the range, while Yume combines a can, saturated pink and a reflective surface. Those choices can help an art director assess how product recognition, atmosphere and negative space could work within a new brief.

A photographer for agencies and brand teams

Start with the message, audience and layout. If a creative or branding agency has a concept, references and an approved design, those materials guide the photographic discussion. If the direction is still developing, we can identify the product features and visual treatments to explore before agreeing the shooting scope. The proposal specifies the agreed concept development and photography.

The shot list should distinguish the main advertising image from variations and supporting stills. A hero product photograph might need clear space for a headline; a closer detail could support a carousel or landing page. These are planned compositions, not simply crops added to every finished photograph.

Production requirements made explicit

Food preparation, props, styling, talent, location and additional crew depend on the concept. Where they are needed, their responsibilities and costs should be agreed before production. A simple tabletop brief and a scene involving people require different preparation. Supplying the packaging artwork and the latest product samples also helps avoid building an image around an outdated design.

Usage, approvals and delivery

Agree who reviews the direction and how selections and retouching will be approved. Delivery can specify final image numbers, file formats, colour requirements and horizontal or vertical versions. Advertising usage is discussed separately: channels, territories, duration and any exclusivity should be clear. Additional versions or later extensions can then be assessed against the original scope.

Concept and references

Share the campaign idea, the product range and the layouts if available. Mark what each reference illustrates, such as light, surface, framing or mood, rather than asking for a copy.

Placements and timing

List the intended channels, required aspect ratios, delivery deadline and review dates. Include text or logo safe areas so the main subject is not crowded in the final design.

Scope and budget

Include the desired number of images, available samples, indicative budget and the agency or brand contact. Mention styling, people or motion so those requirements can be considered from the start.
